About Us
Janice trained at Southampton College of Art, now Solent University. After graduating she taught ceramics at Eastleigh College in Hampshire for twenty-five years. Janice encouraged many of her students to learn to 'throw' pots on the wheel. After retiring and moving to Tipsy Cottage in the New Forest five years ago, she has had time to make pots for herself, continuing her love of throwing and hand decorating all her own work. Janice is still encouraging fellow potters by running classes for Romsey Art Group. There is a variety of work on show in the studio at Tipsy Cottage, including a selection of RAKU pottery.
